Our overall thoughts on the price, vehicle and Peugeot Drive Europe...

As Delwyn had assured us before we left, the Peugeot 2008 SUV was the perfect size for two people with a suitcase each. It was economical and despite the relatively small 1200cc engine (which is much less than I am used to at home in New Zealand) the car had plenty of acceleration to complete overtaking manoeuvres safely.  Also, the in-built GPS system was very intuitive and easy to use.

It was also very reassuring to holiday knowing that our motor vehicle insurance was thoroughly comprehensive.

Our itinerary required that we collect and return the car on a Saturday. Notwithstanding that Saturday was outside the normal working week, the collection at Nice Airport and return at Bordeaux Airport went perfectly.  As promised, the staff were at the designated airport locations and times to deliver and collect the car, and each pick-up and drop-off process took literally no more than 5 minutes!

Having compared the cost of hiring a car and all the additional charges for insurances, GPS etc - and even though we only had the Peugeot Drive Europe car for a total of 18 days - I wouldn’t hesitate to do the same for any future driving holidays in France. 

I more than happily recommend Delwyn and Peugeot Drive Europe to anyone contemplating a driving holiday in France.
